PodCut: shipping an AI post-production platform.
Project management of a SaaS product in live pilot: running delivery between two engineers and senior management, onboarding podcasting studios, and holding the timeline in JIRA while the platform matures.
Post-production time, per episode
What
Delivery ownership of PodCut, an AI post-production SaaS for podcast studios, through its pilot phase: sprint execution, pilot onboarding, and the communication line between the engineering pair and senior management.
How
A structured delivery stack: sprints, epics and feature sets planned and tracked in JIRA against a maintained project timeline; documentation and decisions in Confluence; user workflows mapped in Miro so the editing pipeline is specified from the studio's side before it is built.
Pilot studios are onboarded end to end: discovery calls to qualify the workflow fit, structured onboarding onto the platform, then standing pilot check-ins that feed observed friction straight back into the sprint backlog.
Results
Two podcasting studios onboarded and in weekly use, held deliberately at two while the platform matures. Post-production on a pilot episode has gone from four days of manual editing to four hours of supervised output; the engineering target is four minutes, with production video and clips ready as soon as filming ends.
